“Excellent Christian Fantasy”
Two very engaging characters involved in a quest to restore the true king. Guided by their Christian faith, Raina Swiftmain and rogue knight Torin Hammaguard quest to find the youth who is the king in waiting as well as proof of his claim to the throne.
A wonderful fantasy adventure, despite lacking any elves, wizards or obvious divine intervention, this is well worth reading. Definitely five stars, and I look forward to the next book in this saga.

“Exciting read!”
Although there are major spiritual overtones, it is not preachy in any way. That said, this book was an exciting read, filled with adventure and unspoken romance. I appreciate the fact that the author saw no need to use vulgarity or sexual innuendos. My only complaint is the ending–which leaves you slightly in the air. I await the release of the continuation of this story next month. I highly recommend this author.

“Christian + Fantasy, what’s not to love?”
It’s hard to find a good fantasy story that is also Christian, but the author did an excellent job of weaving them together. Extremely vivid descriptions let me clearly imagine the settings and animals in the book. I can tell a lot of research went into the book, from horse behavior to how a bottle raised tiger might behave. A great story, I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
